The "charge" lasts about 30 seconds and I had to literally stand right over it to even get it to move.The clip that holds the mouse to the control broke off on one side after about 3 charges, so now it doesn't charge at all unless you tie it on with some rope. I'm still looking for a good remote control cat toy. This went in the bucket faster than I could have thrown the money out my window.

These bulbs are delicate and the filament is not supported. Many other old-timey bulbs have many support wires on the filament-which takes away from the vintage look. For the oldest old-timey look, these bulbs are of the best.

(More customer reviews)While I like the look of this bird feeder very much: appreciate how much seed/fruit/nuts it holds: and am amazed at the amount of birds it attracts, (perhaps because of it's size and color) we're not crazy about what else it attracts. This product states that it's squirrel proof. Not only is it not squirrel proof (since we go outside to find squirrels hanging from the side of the feeder and emptying it quite quickly)but it also seems to attract and feed rats. cringe worthy, but true....we evidently have a rat family living underneath our pond. They climb up the tree, across the branches and hang off the side of the feeder as well, having no trouble eating their breakfast, lunch or dinner. They have good taste because we only use high grade nuts, fruits & berries in the feeder. At first we couldn't figure out how a feeder of such large size could be empty within 4 or 5 days. Perhaps the "cage" around the feeder needs to be moved a bit further away from the holes in the inner plastic feed holder so animals can't reach it? In any event, the feeder does it's job and we've now become avid bird watchers in our own back yard. A bit of a redesign might be in order.

A great product, and I'm hoping it lasts for several years.The UV protection should help protect it from sun damage.

The cat heard the ultrasonic sound, because it looked when I pressed the button.But after the first time, the cat just ignored the sound.Apparently it is not loud enough to be irritating.
I ended up just getting the cat to follow the red laser spot out of the yard. So, I would say that this unit does NOT work on cats.

A year later, not one hole, no signs of woodpeckers, and the owl is in perfect condition after going through a cold, icy and snowy winter.

After clearing a good mole hole the first two bombs fizzled after the fuse ignited the body and the third bomb did produce a little smoke but not near enough to fill a mole burrow.I may try another smoke product, however if they do not work, I will go back to gassing Moles with an adapter to my push lawn mower exhaust in order to gas the moles that I have had much success with in the past but is considerably more time consuming.

(More customer reviews)I have tried hanging this thing at different lengths and squirrels aren't thrown off. They sit in the tray and eat away. I have it hanging from a shepherd's hook- squirrels either climb the pole and reach for the tray (even if the chain is long like the instructions say) or they climb the fence that is 3 to 4 feet away and jump to it. I really like how much seed this thing holds. If I didn't chase off 13 squirrels or so at a time I would leave it outside. Instead I went to a local store and bought a feeder where the weight of the squirrel pulls a shield over the opening for food. I only saw one squirrel that was smart enough to figure out how to use it's feet and hands to get upside down so he or she didn't close the food opening. If I had more money to spend I would buy the squirrel guard that goes with the Sky Cafe and the optional pole that goes under the feeder as a stand instead of hanging the feeder. For the price of this thing alone I am sorry I bought it. I don't even use it.
