(More customer reviews)One white and orange young cat was always spraying and pooing near our front doors.We first tried to order "Cat Stop,"but it is not available anyware and not in stock at the manufacturer.So, I ordered this instead.
The cat heard the ultrasonic sound, because it looked when I pressed the button.But after the first time, the cat just ignored the sound.Apparently it is not loud enough to be irritating.
I ended up just getting the cat to follow the red laser spot out of the yard. So, I would say that this unit does NOT work on cats.
