(More customer reviews)I originally had a fly-through feeder,which turned out to be a popular hangout for the local squirrel population. I didn't have very much bird action at all.
After extensive research online,I chose the Arundale Sky Cafe.Now it is all birds all the time.
About a month or so after I put the Sky Cafe into action,I mounted the fly-through feeder on a post,with a large(22 inch),baffle.The sqirrells have been unable to gain access to this feeder,Which makes very happy.
The interesting thing is that the birds prefer the Sky Cafe,about four to one.
I highly recommend this feeder,if you follow the instructions for placement,i think you will be quite satisfied as well.

(More customer reviews)I've gone through numerous of bird feeders in my lifetime and i am just tired of the squirrels eating the seeds and chewing on the feeders. I gave up a few years back then realized how much i really miss watching the birds. So I decided there has got to be a "real" squirrel proof feeder.I saw this one and told myself that if i saw one darn squirrel on this or even a blue jay, it was going back to the retailer and i'm getting my money back.I've had it 2 years and NOT ONE DARN SQUIRREL!!!!Not only that, the cardinals were able to feed off on this feeder. It's rather a cool innovation. The perch are design to only support birds of cardinals or smaller. Anything heavier, the perch collapse and they either fall off or fly off, then the perch springs back.I'm actually looking to buy a couple more of the feeders.Worth every darn penny 'cuz I know this is going to be the last one and the high quality of this birdfeeder will be around for years to come.

Audubon Torpedo Squirrel Baffle Review

(More customer reviews)The item arrived without any written instructions.When I figured out how the (included)clamp would attach to the pole I realizedthat, after installation, the baffle would slide down a few inches- maybe enough for a squirrel to bypass. I decided to use a hard rubber gasket instead. This "retainer" can be pushed all the way up the neck of the baffle- with NO slippage and no sqirrels. Works fine!

Why in the world would they put that huge sticker (just look at the picture) on there and glue it on there like that?There is no way I was going to put that baffle out in my yard with a big label on it, so I had to get it off.I have removed many stickers in my life, but that was bad!

(More customer reviews)My husband had this on his wish list and based on the other reviews I almost didn't order it for him. Others said birds couldn't get seeds out and didn't use the feeder. We have lots of birds using this feeder at all times and I once counted 10 birds on it at the same time. Some cling to the wires and others sit on the perch to eat. The top has kept the snow and rain off of it and it holds a ton of seeds at one time (not filling it as much). Also the squirels have yet to destroy it unlike many other feeders we have had. I would definately buy this one again.

Premier Busy Buddy Puppy Squirrel Dude Dog Toy Review

(More customer reviews)So, I wanted a little variety in my kongs so I tried Squirrel Dude. I had read he was like Kong. It's the same theory only with a cute design.

No.

There are three really huge differences.
1. Kong is made in the USA and Squirrel Dude is made in China. I'm not some protectionist zealot as a general matter, but China has dumped enough scary crap on us in the last few years that I am trying to avoid it. Plus, people HERE need jobs. And my dog toys don't need to travel across an ocean.

2. Squirrel Dude smells like pool toys or a new shower curtain. He has that smelly plastic stench. It doesn't really bother me, but if I were supposed to be sucking, chewing and coaxing my food and entertainment out of it, it would drive me nuts.

3. My dog uses his kong and ignores Squirrel Dude. So, why buy squirrel dude?

Now I have to return it, and the seller requires that I pay the shipping, and insure it for the full retail price, even though it was their misleading description that caused the need for a return. Stokes Select 38079 Squirrel Lunch Box Review

(More customer reviews)I've had this feeder for two years now, and I have to say I LOVE watching the squirrels and larger birds play around it.
One of the best features, I think, it the plastic screen that keeps the food in -- and therefore dry. It raises up just enough for some to come out for the squirrels and birds to pick at is from the perch, and of course they can get some more by reaching under (the squirrels) or sticking their heads under (the birds - mostly blue jays) the screen.
I didn't have this problem last year, but this year some of the squirrels figured out that they could remove the screen by lifting the lid and pulling/pushing the screen up and out. I haven't seen them do it yet, but they did it three times before I decided to try to put an end to it. To that end, every time I fill it I now tie the lid shut by wrapping plastic string around it several times and triple knotting it underneath. So far (for that last two weeks), it's seemed to work.
I've also recently tried putting peanuts in this. The squirrels and birds seem to love this, but they don't eat the peanuts at the feeder -- they carry them off. Possibly to store them for the winter. But as a result I think I may swish back to putting regular feed - or sunflower seeds - in it.

(More customer reviews)I've been through a few feeders looking for something simple that beats the squirrels. This one fits the bill. Its all metal construction prevents chewing, and the distance between the inner wire mesh feed tube and outer cage is sized to allow the birds to reach the seeds with ease. The squirrels can't get at them. It has attracted woodpeckers, nuthatches, titmice and cardinals (which eat seeds that spill on the ground below it). It has a simple locking tab on top that seals the lid but allows for easy refilling.
I just wish it was made in the USA instead of China, like so many other things. I'd happily pay more for that.

(More customer reviews)A good squirrel baffle actually serves two purposes being directly over a feeder.It most of the time keeps the pesky varmints that its designed to deter away, and it also serves as a roof in keeping rain away from the seed portals and helps them stay dry.There are people that buy baffles as protection from the weather even if they are fortunate enough not to be bothered by squirrels.The Aspects dome is certainly big enough to do both jobs.But it is no more effective than any other baffle of the same size and design that is much cheaper.If one sets out to buy a baffle just about anywhere of the dome variety, they will get a swift and severe education as to how expensive they are.You will come to believe that all baffles must have uranium in them somewhere to be so overpriced.The only exception to that rule that I have found is the dome that can be found at a local Tractor Supply company, or at the Tractor Supply website.They sell a full 15" gray plastic dome squirrel baffle for the unbelievable price of only $8.00.(At the time of this writing.It my be a little more now, but will forever be far cheaper than the Aspects).They are the same size as the Aspects and have the same double hook system.And they also come with an attachment for mounting the baffle on a pole if that serves your needs. They are so cheap and effective I ordered 10 of them at once for all my feeders. The only difference between the two is the Tractor Supply baffle is a solid gray instead of clear.Something I actually prefer since the clear ones only look clear for the first couple of Weeks anyway.From that time on they are never clear again.If you're in the market for a baffle, especially for more than one, forget this horrendously overpriced Aspects model and check out the squirrel baffles at Tractor Supply company.You will be most pleased, I promise you...

I love this frisbee for many reasons.
1. It is easy to throw. You don't have to have great aim as it tends to go in the direction you hope it will go. You don't have to be strong as it floats through the air.
2. The shape is dog-friendly. Because the edges sit off of the ground, it is easy to pick up.
3. It is rugged. Even my tough chewer working diligently on it hasn't torn it apart. (Which amazes me so much that I let her chew just to see how long it will hold out.)
4. It's cute. Come on...a flying squirrel frisbee? Some people were just having a blast while designing dog toys.
