(More customer reviews)I had an occasional field mouse in the garage and so I got this.So far I have not seen another mouse in the garage for about a month or so.I also used the shake away granules around the house foundation starting from the garage.That could also play into it.I ran out of the shake away granules by the back of the house and that is now where the mice (2) hang out.No longer where I put down the granules.

(More customer reviews)We had just moved in our new home that had previously been a corn field and we starting finding mice droppings in our garage.We then found some in the house and decided to take action.Having 4 children under the age of 7 we wanted whatever it was to be safe.We contacted an exterminator who said they would have to use poision, but we might find dead mice in the house.We tried glue traps, caught some that way but who wants to dispose of the sticky mice.Tried the little sound things that plug into the walls.Didn't work.Found Shake away and our mouse problem was gone.That was 3 years ago and we still use this stuff.Just sprinkle around the house a few weeks before fall comes and then a few more times during the fall, and no more problem!If you are looking for the safe then try this!

Now I use my Ultimate AT out in my garage of my new home, and it really helps keep the mice and spiders at bay.One day I noticed a large spider web out in the garage, I was so upset... I looked up and realized that someone had unplugged my AT (the landlord had been there earlier doing yard work and he needed the outlets).Seeing the spider web that developed when the unit wasn't plugged in really showed me how well my AT works!I bought one more I keep in my kitchen, to keep ants out in the spring and summer.I love these things!

(More customer reviews)After trying all sorts of things (moth balls, tea tree oil, lights on 24X7, live trap, etc.) that did not work to evict squirrels (they are very clever) from my attic, I did a lot of research and found that this was the most recommended product.It is fairly expensive, and I could not find a used one, so I bought a new one.One thing that is definite is that squirrels hate it, and it works right away in a simple attic.In other words, if your attic is totally flat and the light is be able to reach everywhere, you are all set.If you have a complex construction (as I did), you have to make sure that you put it so that the light reaches the hole from which squirrels go in and out.That way once they are out they won't come back in.At that point you should close the hole.

(More customer reviews)Works great in our living room - they don't mention the unit makes a slight clicking sound which is a little annoying if you are bothered by things like ticking clocks, particularly if you plan to install this in the same room you sleep in, however the clicks are not rhythmic, it clicks at a varied rhythm, which doesn't bother me too much.I get used to it in the living room /TV room, but would not like it in the bedroom.Other than the subtle clicks (which I keep thinking should not be necessary, but maybe there is a reason) the unit makes no sound that I can hear.One thing that people might not understand is that it will take a week or two for the mice to leave, and during that first couple weeks you will see more mice than you have ever seen.Our cat and terrier had a ball; they caught probably two mice every day for two weeks.It's important to understand that is because the unit does work, not because the rats are laughing at it as another reviewer suggested.Also, the unit seems to be effective in the room it is installed in, but not in adjacent rooms.I'm planning to order a few more, for the outbuildings, attic and crawl space.I know they are down there! I'm pretty confident this unit is disturbing them enough to drive them out.Ollie and Boo Boo will let me know!

(More customer reviews)Maybe this works--I've been having a running war with the local raccoons and squirrels. Every winter they invade our attic which is large and odd shaped and really can not be sealed off. I've used live traps and caught a bunch (mostly raccoons) and taken them across the Missouri river to a Wildlife area so they can't be coming back. BUT, there are always more to take their place, location, location, location. Once the raccoons have their kits they will move hell and high water (good moms). I've tried using different repellents with little effect. I did not really expect this thing to work and it is not 100% but it has been a big improvement. When I first got the thing I aimed it at my cats for a test(nice guy). They were not pleased but they also really did not leave the area. I put it up in the attic in the fall and just leave it on. I do go up and aim it in different directions from time to time. The good news is no one has set up house keeping so far.The end of February early March is prime for the raccoons to give birth so "maybe" I won't be running a nursery this year. Prior to this year the raccoons moved in to the attic in the late fall/winter. Sometimes there would be "turf wars" one could scare them away but they would return. So far the only intruders have been the squirrels but they do not seem to stay. They seem to check it out but choose to leave so it has been an improvement for sure but again not a 100% solution. Now the bad, it makes noise. Not real loud but it can clearly be heard in the hall, our bedroom (just a wee bit) and most of the upstairs depending on the aim, just depends on placement. I leave it on all the time so the noise is not a great thing to have a bit annoying, but the critters are much worse. Again my cats in true form could care less (so that is sort of good, we are not trying to run them out of the upstairs) but I guess it makes enough noise in the attic to be a pest to the pests.
