(More customer reviews)This product works if you use it when no rain is in the immediate forecast. I use it to keep rabbits away from my flower garden. You have to be patient when you apply it since it does not work immediately. Maybe the granules need to slowly disintegrate? Anyway, I had bought Shake Away at a local store and could not find it any where the next time I needed it and did not want to try a different brand since they all are rather expensive and in the past other brands have had less than satisfactory results. I found the 3 pound at Amazon at a much better price than what I had previously paid for multiple 1 pound containers - especially since it qualified for free shipping.

(More customer reviews)I bought 2 of these owlsto keep the hawks away from my baby chicks.My husband put them on tall poles and placed them in my backyard close to the chicken coop (facing the woods where the hawks usually fly out of)I think they are working because I have seen the hawks, but nowhere close to the chicks.Also, the owls' heads spin when there is a little wind.The hawks must think they are real!
