Then dispersed the liquid w/out using the spray the next day....Raccoons and squirrels were happily playing in the area flipping me the bird.Went out and bought the dry formula... emptied the canister on the extremely small area around my bird feeder. Just checked and sure enough mr racoon is is happily feasting on bird food, amongst the critter ridder, below the bird feeder.

(More customer reviews)We had squirrels that were setting up housekeeping in the attic.We think they got in through the air vent of the soffet.We tried all the conventional methods with no luck.Found this product and it worked wonders.We have revented the soffet and haven't heard any activity since.I'm now trying it with the chipmunks.Hopefully it will have the same results.

Definitely would recommend this.Also, customer service was very helpful and friendly.

(More customer reviews)if I had known that I could have bought it at the local Ace Hardware store instead of paying Amazon for shipping, I would have gotten it locally. What I figured out from previous reviews is that "more is not better". I sprinkle very sparingly amounts about 2 a week on trees, bushes, fence corners - the typical places a coyote or fox would mark. I can see cats in other yards in the neighborhood but they avoid our yard, which was the goal on order to keep our indoor cat calm and to provide sanctuary for the birds in the backyard.

Though the website states that it is being revised, there is a toll free number listed. I called to inquire about a refund because initially the product wasn't working for me. Though the agent was more than accomodating about providing a refund, she also took the time to ask me how I'd been using the product. As it turns out, I was applying it all wrong. She talked me through how I should use it, and it's been working like a charm ever since. It takes a little bit of time to begin to work, but it was worth the wait. ****
I've had a couple of requests to clarify what the correct way of applying the product is, and my apologies for not including that in my original review. I had applied a heavy dose of the Shake-Away on my garden,and was downright furious the following day when I saw rabbits eating away! That was why I had called. The girl instructed me to apply it lightly 2 times a week for 2 weeks, and said that it may take up to 2 weeks for it to start working. She said that once it started working, to apply it once a month to keep the bunnies away. So that's the trick, light but consistent applications.

I was pleasantly surprised to see my feeders full and only birds eating from them. If you are unfamiliar with working with hot peppers be very careful using this product. Wear gloves and possibly a mask.The new website for C&S ( wildsuets.com )states to use an oil coating on the seed before applying the powder:Mix only five pounds of seed at a time!Mix the seed well with several sprays of a non-stick vegetable spray, or two teaspoons of cooking oil before applying the "Squirrel Away TM".The birds do not taste the oil or the powder. Therefore, they do not know it is there.Mix the powder one teaspoon full at a time, taking care to mix thoroughly.ALLOW TREATED SEED TO SIT 20 MINUTES BEFORE FILLING THE FEEDER!.

In fact, after all the pears were hauled off by the squirrels they continued to play in my back yard with little regard for the four (4) pouches situated in the yard. I think I needed the predator not his urine.
