(More customer reviews)This does not fit a 1" pole!Beware!Its center hole has a diameter of 7/8" [clearly printed on box], and so obviously can't fit a pole larger in diameter than that!It will not fit a Wild Birds Unlimited 1" pole [as I found out the hard way].Obviously, Droll Yankees want to limit their customers to using their [less sturdy/stable] pole only - a pity. This product is going back.

This Giant Seed Tray and Squirrel Guard from Droll Yankees mounts on a 1 inch pole and is held in place by a Complete Clamp (included). It catches seed spilled from above and is a great favorite of cardinals and other ground feeders. Its broadly curved edge prevents squirrels from getting to your feeders when placed below them and 4 feet or higher on the pole. May be filled with sunflower seed and cracked corn and used as an additional feeder!
