They are gorgeous when turned on, dimmed, or even off, and perfect for any antique or replica historical light fixture. They add so much personality and a beautiful golden light. They do not burn as brightly as modern-style 60W incandescent bulbs...take this into consideration when choosing wattage. They come very carefully packaged - I was very satisfied with the way they were shipped.
